Storefront by WooThemes

Storefront

Storefront is a free theme from WooThemes, who is an affiliate to AUTOMATTIC. Those guys who made WooCommerce, WordPress.com, Jetpack, Akismet and several other renown products in the WordPress biotope.

I would not recommend anything to you I’ve not been using enthusiastically myself. Bold links are affiliate links. I recommend what you’ll find there and If you make a purchase, I will get a commission without additional costs to you.

Features

Storefront is free. Yay! Imagine you need a car and get the chassis donated. Yeah, that kind of free. It features only the most basic settings by design. It is just meant as a stepping stone in purchasing child themes and plugins at WooThemes. In that virtue it comes with the WooThemes Helper plugin to manage your subscriptions at WooThemes.

The good thing is, it supports all WooCommerce extensions out of the box. Let’s say your client needs the WooCommerce Brands extension subscription, you can be sure that Storefront has that covered.

Sturdiness

Storefront is developed and maintained by the WooCommerce core developers, so the WooCommerce integration is rock solid. Designed as a basement to pile a WooThemes child and extensions upon. It doesn’t do much, but this, it does well.

Support

WooCommerce and Storefront are well documented and stackoverflowed. As of now I never had the opportunity to see the people supporting Storefront in action.

Conclusion

Sorefront is just the free and very basic theme that comes with WooCommerce, Its purpose is to sell WooCommerce’s Extensions and that is all I could say about it. No, wait! It works very well in conjunction with Elementor which is cool. Look:
