Auto World depicted all companies classified according to the VDA product key.
In 2002 we developed an interface to NRW-Auto.
In 2003, an interface was made available to Automotive-Saarland.
In 2004 we developed an interface to Autoland-BW for Baden-Württemberg and made it available to the initiative. We also developed fier-automotive.com for the Dutch company FIER-Automotive, including integration into the VDA services for all Benelux automotive companies.
At the VDA Medium-Sized-Companies Business Day we introduced the VDA services and presented our vision for the future.
In 2005 Auto-RLP was developed and made available for Rhineland-Palatinate as an interface to VDA services.
In 2007 an interface to VDA services was developed and made available for the new federal states with ACOD (Automotive-Cluster-East Germany).
We presented the development of the VDA applications at the VDA country meeting.
In 2005, 2006 and 2007, the participants of Auto World were identified in the English-language magazine Auto.World, which was published in cooperation between the VDA, made-in-germany.com AG and the Stuttgart-based media house local global GmbH.

2011 Auto-World got a new look.
In 2018 the project Auto World was discontinued by the VDA, together with the VDA Directory of the Automotive Industry and the VDA Cooperation Exchange and Portal.
